Duties: Job Description
The Controller shall hold responsibility for managing the overall financial operations and will provide accurate information to the Executive, including analysis, budgeting, forecasting and preparing financial reports. Liquid Lifestyles Whitewater Rafting and Kayaking is seeking to fill our Operations Manager Position. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing river operations and risk management of our river based activities. They will directly supervise a team of employees as well as subcontractors when over the tourist season.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspect of river operations, including preventative maintenance, Guides Training and Trip Development programs.
• Manages all river staff including, Rafting Guides, Whitewater Kayak Instructors, Shuttle Drivers and Photographers
• Liaising with guests/clients, ensuring operating and industry standards are met.
• Ensures all access and egress points on operational rivers are maintained and developed.
• Ensures that all OH&S legislation and regulations are being adhered to as per our Risk Management and Emergency Response Program


Qualifications

• Post Secondary Diploma or Degree in Outdoor Education or Tourism
• Excellent Communication and organizational abilities
• Strong Technical knowledge and Skills
• Swiftwater Rescue Technician
• Wilderness First Aid 50hr. (80hr. Preferred)
• Class IV Drivers License
